AGC in the Community is an initiative of AGC Charities Inc., designed to showcase the community service projects of AGC of America’s chapters and members. Bowen Prize for Great Builders
New in 2024, the Bowen Prize for Great Builders, managed by the AGC Education and Research Foundation, is dedicated to identifying, recognizing, and rewarding the construction industry's most influential builders. Candidates are those individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership, fortitude, skill, and stewardship in an on-the-job capacity to ensure project goals were achieved in constructing America's most essential infrastructure. AGC Construction Innovation Awards, Sponsored by Autodesk
In 2018, AGC of America celebrated 100 years of serving the construction industry. In order to recognize this milestone AGC introduced the Innovation Award to provide a platform to encourage free thinkers within the construction industry to provide inventive solutions to the construction challenges that are faced daily. AGC Culture of Care Awards
The Culture of CARE Impact Awards celebrate construction companies that are transforming their culture to create environments where every individual feels safe, respected, and valued. Rooted in the four pillars of the Culture of CARE pledge—Commit, Attract, Retain, and Empower—these awards recognize firms that are embedding inclusion and belonging as strategic business priorities to ensure that all individuals have the opportunity to succeed based on their merit and performance, free from unlawful discrimination or harassment. The four award categories include: Commitment to CARE, Attracting Talent, Retention and Belonging, Employee Empowerment. Companies may apply for one or more categories that reflect their strengths. One company will also be selected as the Culture of CARE Champion of the Year for demonstrating exceptional performance in at least one category and showing a holistic, integrated, and sustained approach to fostering a Culture of CARE beyond their company.
