Join AGC of America for "Davis-Bacon and Related Acts Three-Part Webinar Series: Understanding, Influencing and Complying with Federal Prevailing Wage Requirements," an informative three-part webinar series taking a deep dive into recent updates to Davis-Bacon rules and compliance.

The application of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) to federal and federally assisted construction projects leaves many contractors uncertain about the requirements of federal prevailing wage laws and the consequences of non-compliance. Failure to comply puts covered contractors at risk of catastrophic consequences, from losing money on contracts due to failure to understand labor costs, to high-dollar backpay and related penalties, to debarment from future federal work. Adding further confusion, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) recently enacted a massive overhaul and update to the regulations governing the DBRA.

Don’t miss out on this valuable three-part series, in which presenters – including a former senior representative from DOL’s Wage and Hour Division – will help contractors avoid those risks by educating staff tasked with DBRA compliance and administration on DBRA coverage, requirements, pitfalls, and enforcement.

Webinar 1, scheduled for February 21 at 3:00 p.m. EST, is designed to give covered federal prime and subcontractors a more detailed understanding of what changes were made with the DOL’s recent updates. Presenters will walk attendees through the final rule requirements for major DBRA topics and include information on the changes in setting prevailing wage rates.

Webinar 2, scheduled for February 22 at 3:00 p.m. EST, is perfect for staff who are newly responsible for federal contract or subcontract compliance or who could use a refresher course. It will provide basic overview to help attendees understand DBRA requirements in a contractor-friendly manner.

Webinar 3, scheduled for February 29 at 3:00 p.m. EST, will perform a deeper dive into the intricacies and complex challenges of the laws. It will provide attendees with an advanced understanding of the requirements of the DBRA and provide valuable best practices.
