OFCCP Publishes New Corporate Scheduling List for Construction Contractors

AGC Offers July 27 Webinar to Help Contractors Prepare

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has published the latest Corporate Scheduling Announcement List (CSAL) for construction contractors, which is comprised of 250 federal contractors, federally assisted contractors and subcontractors. OFCCP also recently announced a renewed Mega Construction Project Initiative reaffirming contractors’ Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action requirements under covered federal contracts. Contractors working on identified specific Mega Projects will receive enhanced scrutiny and guaranteed audits.

In response to these developments, AGC of America is offering a webinar on July 27, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. EDT. Come hear from two leading employment law attorneys who have extensive OFCCP experience and expertise, and learn what construction contractors can expect from OFCCP in upcoming audits and if they become involved in Mega Projects.

The CSAL is a courtesy notification to a contractor selected for a compliance evaluation. The review will start once the establishment receives OFCCP’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB)-approved scheduling letter. OFCCP encourages contractors to take advantage of the suite of compliance assistance offerings and to contact their local field and regional offices for technical assistance in preparation for the evaluation.  Additionally, federal contractors can visit the OFCCP website to find a list of virtual compliance assistance events. OFCCP also published the methodology for developing this list as well as frequently asked questions (FAQs) where answers to other matters related to this topic are included.

If a contractor believes they should not be selected for evaluation, they must send an email to the OFCCP Scheduling Mailbox at ofccp-dpo-scheduling@dol.gov.  OFCCP claims it will respond to the inquiry promptly.

For AGC Affirmative Action/EEO resources, visit AGC’s Labor & HR Topical Resources library and select “EEO” as the main category and “Affirmative Action/EEO” as the subcategory.  You must be logged in as an AGC member to access the materials.
