AGC Convention to Feature Laborer's General President and Collective Bargaining Training

The agenda for AGC of America’s 2020 Annual Convention includes three sessions specifically for union contractors.  The convention will run from March 9-12 in Las Vegas, NV, co-located with the CONEXPO-CON/AGG industry trade show.  Registration is now open at https://convention.agc.org/.

On March 10, the Union Contractors Committee will host a session called the State of the (Laborers’) Union, where Terry O’Sullivan, general president of the Laborers’ International Union of North America will be the guest speaker.  All Convention registrants are invited to attend.

On March 11, the Union Contractors Steering Committee will hold a meeting open to all members of the Union Contractors Committee and chapter staff attending the Convention.  The meeting will include a roundtable discussion of labor relations developments around the country.

Not to be missed is a half-day Collective Bargaining Seminar scheduled for the start of the Convention, in the morning of March 9.  The seminar is designed to help train AGC members and chapter staff directly involved in negotiating collective bargaining agreements.  Pre-registration for the seminar is required and is an optional add-on during convention registration for an extra $50.  AGC members and chapter staff who are not able to attend the Convention but wish to attend the Collective Bargaining Seminar may register for the seminar only, for a $100 fee, here.

More information about the Convention is available here.
