AGC's 2016 BuildCon Updates Attendees on the Latest Industry Reports - Session will Include Owner Dialogue

BuildCon 2016 brings together high-level leaders in the building construction industry to keep them up to speed on the latest market developments affecting the industry.

BuildCon’s Wednesday, October 19, 2016 programming features Ken Simonson, AGC Chief Economist as he reviews the latest reports about worker availability, including government data, AGC’s Summer 2016 workforce survey, other private surveys and contractor reports. He will discuss the types of construction and locations that are growing or slowing. He will offer his fearless forecast for 2017, including the implications of different potential outcomes of the U.S. elections, international economic and political developments, and energy or other commodities price shocks.

This session is during the PIAC(Public/Private Industry Advisory Council, AGC’s owner’s group) meeting, which is open to all BuildCon attendees. The session will end with facilitated dialogue that will include insights from various owner representation such as The Home Depot, Target Properties, LDS Church Physical Facilities, Michigan State University, Georgia Building Authority and more.
