AGC of America's Specialty Contractor Council Steering Committee is looking for members like you to raise your hand and lead. AGC’s Lean Construction Forum Steering Committee Chairman Scott Green, Manager of Construction Technology at Tarlton Corporation extended the baton at last weeks' annual Convention to Jason Schneider, Partner, Director of Project Management at VJS Construction Services, Inc. for the 2020-2022 term.

Because AGC understands that Business Development is a crucial topic in the construction industry that interests and affects all of our members, we will be offering several BD-related educational sessions and networking opportunities.

AGC of America’s Business Development Forum, with support from The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), will offer free one-on-one Business Development (BD) “Check-Ups” to AGC Convention attendees to review and offer guidance on their BD and marketing related efforts. Subject matter experts from across the nation will be paired with attendees to answer questions and challenges relating to BD planning, sales, proposals, client presentations, branding, brochures, websites, social media, and more. The Free Business Development and Marketing Check-Up booths will be open Tuesday and Wednesday March 10 & 11 from 9:30-11:30 am PST. Every year, AGC of America’s Student Chapter members and faculty gather together at AGC’s Annual Convention to connect with chapters across the nation, share ideas, become exposed to industry trends, issues and technological developments and experience the excitement of entering this important industry! Make sure your student chapter members join us again this year for our annual Student Chapter meeting where we will recognize the AGC Education and Research Foundation award winners, hear presentations by the 2019 Outstanding Student Chapter Contest winners and participate in Student Chapter best practices roundtable discussions. AGC of America also offers students the chance to participate in the Bill Ratz Memorial Topgolf Tournament with the AGC Education and Research Foundation. The AGC Business Development Forum brings together Business Development professionals in one place, for one purpose – creating business opportunities by sharing the latest techniques and tools of Business Development, following and reporting on trends in the construction market and connecting a network of professionals invested in building better businesses. AGC’s BD Forum members include project managers, C-Suite executives, specialty contractors, marketing professionals and more - AGC’s BD Forum is for everyone because everyone is involved in BD!
