AGC Opens Registration for 2017 Construction Environmental Conference

Come join us September 13-14, 2017 in Crystal City, Virginia!

Registration is now open for the Associated General Contractors of America’s annual Construction Environmental Conference (CEC) on September 13-14, 2017, at The Double Tree in Crystal City, VA, located directly across the river from Washington, DC.

Go to http://meetings.agc.org/cec/ to register and make your travel arrangements today!

Each year, the CEC hones in on the most critical environmental issues impacting the business of construction, provides management guidance for environmental professionals, and gives context for other construction professionals looking to understand the key concepts and round out their knowledge.  AGC invites professionals from related fields within the building and development industries who would find benefit in learning how environmental issues are handled on a project.

Why Attend the CEC?

The CEC facilitates learning in an intimate setting that fosters valuable feedback, networking, and meaningful face-to-face interaction amongst peers, industry experts and federal regulators.  AGC’s CEC offers all attendees an opportunity to share best practices and learn from experts ---and each other--- about the most significant, relevant, practical, and current environmental topics.  Right now, AGC and member volunteers are putting the finishing touches on the schedule of events to build a learning experience that responds to today’s changing environment.

Expand Your Knowledge

Co-located with the conference, on September 12, 2017, AGC will host a series of roundtable discussions exclusively for in-house environmental managers at construction firms.   The AGC In-House Environmental Managers Meeting is a day of peer-to-peer learning and information sharing.  This meeting is highly interactive.  You set the agenda; to ensure active discussion, space is limited.  Register as an “add-on” item through the conference registration tool.

This meeting is intended for environmental managers at construction firms, though, participants’ job titles could be project managers, sustainability managers or risk managers.  The meeting will not be open to outside consultants.  AGC will poll the meeting participants in advance, to identify the topics and discussion leaders.
