Register Today for AGC's 2016 Contractors Environmental Conference

This election year, join your peers on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, for environmental education, peer-driven discussions, and networking

AGC’s annual Contractors Environmental Conference (CEC) is coming to the nation’s capital.  The outcome of the elections this fall may be uncertain; but one thing you can rely on is that the CEC is where you want to be in October for contractor-specific environmental education, discussions, and networking.  Join your peers on October 5-6, in Washington, D.C. at the Hyatt Regency Washington Capitol Hill.

Register today via the conference website at http://meetings.agc.org/cec/.  Bookmark the conference website — we’ll continue to update it with more details and information, such as this great member testimonial video about AGC’s CEC.

Are you ready for some fresh perspective?  The conference will include educational sessions, case studies, discussions, and updates on federal regulatory activities.  You will learn in an intimate setting that fosters valuable face-to-face interaction amongst peers, industry experts and federal regulators.

Each year, AGC also invites federal regulatory agency representatives to share updates and answer your questions.  And since this year’s conference is just before the 2016 presidential election, AGC will hold a special session that explores the candidates’ environmental records.

Co-located, Fall In-House Environmental Managers Meeting (Pre-Meeting)

In response to your feedback to include even more opportunities for peer-to-peer learning, AGC is pleased to hold a session of roundtable discussions exclusively for in-house environmental managers at construction firms–whether they handle compliance or sustainability issues.  Although co-located, this special “pre-meeting” is separate from AGC’s 2016 CEC and will be held on October 4, the day before the main conference begins.  Participants choose the discussion topics in advance of the meeting.  The discussions are highly interactive and intended for environmental managers at construction firms, but participants are also project managers, sustainability managers or risk managers.  Check out the “pre-meeting” section of the CEC website for more information.

Location, Location, Location!

This election year, AGC is holding the Contractors Environmental Conference right on Capitol Hill in the heart of the nation’s capital – Washington, DC.  The recently renovated Hyatt Regency Washington Capitol Hill is just steps away from the United States Capitol, the National Mall and Smithsonian Museums, as well as the National Building Museum (our favorite museum).  It’s also right across the street from DC’s first LEED certified green building and down the road from a green streets demonstration project.  The hotel is close to Union Station and several restaurants.  And, as it is located on Capitol Hill, it is also very convenient for visiting the U.S. House or Senate Congressional offices.
