AGC brings programs to you for early-career superintendents and project managers, as well as those looking to get involved with green construction and Building Information Modeling. - The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Education Program—designed specifically for construction professionals, this series will lead contractors through the process of learning about, understanding, adopting and effectively using BIM. BIM 101, the first course in the series provides an overview of what BIM is, why to use it and how to use it. BIM Technology introduces users to the features of BIM tools from multiple platforms. BIM Contract Negotiation and Risk Assessment examines BIM and contract terminology to determine best practices for integrating BIM use into project contracts. BIM Process, Adoption, and Integration provides a foundation for participants to establish and execute the BIM process, facilitate its adoption, and achieve integration on a single project and at a company level to execute multiple BIM projects simultaneously. Not just a tech certificate for BIM software and applications, AGC’s Certificate of Management – Building Information Modeling (CM–BIM) is an assessment-based certificate program tied to AGC’s BIM Education program. Sucessful CM-BIM candidates demonstrate they have achieved the learning outcomes in the training by passing the CM-BIM exam and will have the ability to carry the designation behind their name.
