The AGC Education and Research Foundation is proud to announce that this year's CLC Scholarship was given to Jacob Bess, a senior in the Construction Management program at the University of Washington. The AGC Education and Research Foundation is once again offering undergraduate and graduate level scholarships to students pursuing excellence in construction management and related engineering programs. With a history of awarding over $11 million in scholarships to more than 4,000 students nationwide, we are dedicated to fostering the next generation of leaders in the construction industry.

In a continued commitment to bridging academia and industry, the Robert L. Bowen Industry Residency program, a partnership between educational institutions, AGC contractors, and the AGC Education and Research Foundation, has seen remarkable success since its inception in 2011. This unique initiative has sponsored a total of 49 industry residents, providing educators with invaluable field experience to enrich their teaching methods.

The James L. Allhands Essay was established by the late James L. Allhands, one of the founding members of AGC and a prolific writer of construction related works. The award recognizes a student essay on a specific topic that is deemed to be beneficial to the advancement of technological, educational, or vocational expertise in the construction industry.

The history of the Consulting Constructors Council (CCC) and their impact on this country and around world stands as a testament to the valued and unparalleled expertise which individuals have brought to the construction community. The purpose of the Council is to recognize those in our industry who have made significant contributions to the quality and professionalism associated with commercial construction professionals.
