The Role
We're seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our jobsites from mobilization through closeout. As the senior on-site leader, you own the daily execution — schedule, safety, quality, subcontractor coordination, and client confidence. You are the face of PNC in the field, and our reputation is built on the trust your leadership earns every day. This role reports to the COO and works in close partnership with the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through final closeout on commercial projects, including fueling stations, C-stores, and underground utility work.
Own the field schedule — sequence trades, hold subcontractors accountable to milestones, and keep projects on or ahead of timeline.
Enforce a zero-compromise safety culture in full compliance with OSHA and PNC standards; conduct daily safety briefings and site inspections.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and crews, resolving conflicts and performance issues quickly and professionally.
Maintain relentless quality control, ensuring all work meets plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and jurisdictional authorities.
Track and report daily field progress, manpower, and issues using PNC systems (RedTeam Go and Asana).
Manage field-level budget awareness — material use, labor efficiency, and change-order documentation.
Partner with the Project Manager on preconstruction planning, submittals, RFIs, and owner communication.
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience (fueling / C-store / retail / site-utility experience strongly preferred).
Proven ability to run a jobsite independently and lead subcontractor crews to schedule and quality standards.
Strong working knowledge of commercial building codes, ADA compliance, and jurisdictional inspection processes.
OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain); demonstrated safety leadership.
Comfortable with construction-management technology; experience with RedTeam Go, Asana, or similar a plus.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to regional jobsites across PNC's five-state footprint.

This is a hands-on field leadership role. Our Superintendents wear a tool belt and physically perform work alongside their crews. Physical requirements of the position include but are not limited to:
Standing and walking on active jobsites for extended periods.
Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment.
Squatting, kneeling, bending, climbing, and reaching.
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
Performing hands-on construction tasks while wearing a tool belt and required PPE.

Vail, Colorado, The Town of Vail, Colorado is seeking an experienced and collaborative Chief Building Official to lead its Building Safety & Inspection Services Division. This is an exceptional opportunity to oversee permitting, plan review, inspections, and code administration while helping preserve the architectural excellence and quality of life that make Vail one of the nation's most recognized mountain communities.
Reporting to the Director of Community Development, the Chief Building Official will provide technical leadership, supervise a team of inspectors and plans examiners, oversee implementation of future ICC code updates, and foster outstanding customer service while ensuring the highest standards of public safety.
The ideal candidate is an experienced municipal building official and collaborative leader with extensive expertise in building codes, permitting, inspections, and code administration. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a closely related field (or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience)
Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in building code administration or a closely related field
Minimum four International Code Council (ICC) certifications
Valid Colorado Driver's License (or ability to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
ICC Building Plans Examiner certification
ICC Building Inspector certification
ICC Mechanical Inspector certification
ICC Plumbing Inspector certification
Certified Building Official (CBO)
Extensive knowledge of construction practices, permitting systems, municipal building safety operations, and modern building codes
The salary range for this position is $86,726-$170,259 with an expected hiring range of $86,726- $141,882.50 DOE/DOQ.
