AGC of America, along with select national business associations, is hosting a series of presidential town hall-style teleforums where the leading candidates in both parties may talk directly to business owners like you about their presidential campaigns and plans for the country. This is an exclusive opportunity for AGC members to interview the presidential candidates in both parties for the most important job in the country.
This is the candidates’ opportunity to explain their views on taxes, labor regulations, environmental rules, and other issues that will affect your business. More importantly, this is your chance to compare the candidates, ask them questions, and focus the political conversation on issues that are important to construction.
Invited candidates include:
Jeb Bush |
Ben Carson |
Hillary Clinton |
Ted Cruz |
Carly Fiorina |
Mike Huckabee |
John Kasich |
Marco Rubio |
Bernie Sanders |
Donald Trump |
The candidates qualified for the initial invitation by maintaining at least four percent in the RealClearPolitics average of polls during the period starting from the first GOP debate and ending on Labor Day. Should additional candidates average at least 4 percent for a 30-day time period prior to the start of voting, an invitation to participate will be sent to them.
Due to federal election regulations, member participation in the teleforum series is limited to the association's "restricted class." This includes member company primary contacts, members of the Board of Governors, and members of the Board of Directors.
