Construction Industry’s Election Fund Also Provides the Maximum Contribution to Support Mr. O’Dea’s Campaign Noting His Success Building a Local Business that Employs Hundreds

The Associated General Contractors of America Political Action Committee, also known as the AGC PAC, announced today that it has endorsed Joe O’Dea for the United States Senate. AGC PAC officials said they are supporting the O’Dea campaign because of his strong commitment to the construction industry in Colorado.

“Joe O’Dea will build results in the Senate with the same mix of skill, resolve and dedication he used to build a local business that employs hundreds of Coloradans and has contributed billions in local economic development projects,” said Stephen E. Sandherr, Treasurer of AGC PAC. “Joe will be a strong voice for the kind of common sense, practical policies our country needs to remain strong and secure.”

In addition to endorsing Joe O’Dea, AGC PAC is contributing the maximum amount of $10,000 to his campaign. AGC PAC is also encouraging the association’s members in Colorado to help turn out the construction vote in support of his candidacy in the primary election on June 28, 2022.

“Joe O’Dea is a hard-working, honest leader who represents the very best of Colorado. He will stand up and fight for what is right when it comes to protecting our economy, our workers and our country,” said Colorado Contractors Association Executive Director Tony Milo. “Mr. O’Dea will bring the same tenacity he used to build a successful local business to D.C. to fight for the interests of our state and the needs of our country,” added AGC of Colorado President Michael Gifford.

AGC is the association for the commercial construction industry, with over 1,000 member companies in the AGC Colorado Building Chapter and Colorado Contractors Association, representing general and specialty contractors, service providers, and suppliers. This endorsement comes from AGC PAC, the national association’s political action committee.
