AGC PAC: The Associated General Contractors Of America Political Action Committee Endorses Katie Britt For U.S. Senate

Construction Industry’s Election Fund Also Provides the Maximum Contribution to Support Ms. Britt’s Campaign Noting Her Strong Mix of Private Sector Experience and Washington Know-How

The Associated General Contractors of America Political Action Committee, also known as the AGC PAC, announced today that it has endorsed Katie Britt for the United States Senate. AGC PAC officials said they are supporting the Britt campaign because of her commitment to the construction industry in Alabama as the CEO of the state’s business council.

“Katie Britt has a deep understanding of what it takes to encourage private sector success and appreciates how to get things done in Washington,” said Stephen E. Sandherr, Treasurer of AGC PAC. “Alabamans can count on her to stand up and fight for what is right when it comes to protecting our economy, our workers, and our country.”

In addition to endorsing Katie Britt, AGC PAC is contributing the maximum amount of $10,000 to her campaign. AGC PAC is also encouraging the association’s members in Alabama to help turn out the construction vote in support of her candidacy in the primary runoff election on June 21, 2022.

“Katie Britt is a hard-working, honest leader who represents the very best of Alabama,” said Alabama AGC Chief Executive Officer Billy Norrell. “She has the perfect mix of private and public sector experience to proactively address the challenges facing our state’s construction employers and workers.”

AGC is the association for the commercial construction industry, with over 700 member companies in the Alabama AGC, representing general and specialty contractors, service providers, and suppliers. This endorsement comes from AGC PAC, the national association’s political action committee.
