Lean Construction Units 3-5: Now Offering AIA/CES Learning Units

As Lean Construction becomes a growing trend, AGC of America continues to develop its Lean Construction Education Program (LCEP) to help industry professionals become Lean champions and implement Lean principles within their organization. Most recently, LCEP Units 3, 4, and 5 have been approved to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through credentialing bodies such as the American Institute of Architects (AIA).  The following LCEP Units now offer AIA/CES Learning Units:
  • Unit 1: Variation in Production Systems – 4 AIA/CES LUs
  • Unit 2: Pull in Production – 4 AIA/CES LUs
  • Unit 3: Lean Workstructuring – 4 AIA/CES LUs
  • Unit 4: The Last Planner® System – 4 AIA/CES LUs
  • Unit 5: Lean Supply Chain and Assembly – 8 AIA/CES LUs
The entire seven-course educational program will be available by the end of 2014, with the completion of Unit 6: Lean Design and Preconstruction and Unit 7: Problem-Solving Principles and Tools.  Visit www.agc.org/LCEP or email curriculum@agc.org to learn more about AGC’s Lean Construction Education Program, including how to find a LCEP course near you.
