AGC Launches Quarterly Open Shop Web Meetings

First Meeting Sept. 17, Covering Union Jobsite Access AGC of America is pleased to announce a new initiative to enhance service to our open-shop members:  quarterly Open Shop Committee Web Meetings.   These virtual meetings will be free and open to all interested AGC chapter staff and members, whether or not they are members of the committee.  Each meeting will feature: (1) an update by AGC staff on relevant matters; (2) a “Quick Learn” presentation (typically under 30 minutes) by an expert on a different labor-related topic of interest; and (3) a roundtable discussion about that topic and other labor matters of interest at that time.  The first web meeting is scheduled for Sept. 17 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.  The Quick Learn topic will be Union Rights to Access Your Jobsite, presented by attorney Rick Samson of Ogletree Deakins.  AGC members and chapter staff may register at:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1CxSQvGwgIGgmOe7EygMHwDzb2VE_ndmDXgGIPOGoWT8/viewform.   Call-in and login information will be emailed to individuals who register using the above link one or two business days prior to the meeting.
