Register Now for AGC’s First Contractors Environmental Conference

Network with and learn from peers and experts across the country facing the same environmental challenges you see every day.  Registration is now open for AGC’s first national conference on environmental issues that affect construction professionals on June 7-8, 2012, in Arlington, Va., just across the river from our nation’s capital. The 2012 AGC Contractors Environmental Conference will provide educational sessions, discussions, networking opportunities and technology demonstrations with a specific focus on how to generate profits, gain efficiencies, save money and manage risks. Online registration for the conference is now open at www.agc.org/enviroconf2012.  We look forward to seeing you on June 7 and 8! The first day-and-a-half at the conference will provide construction professionals with information and resources to meet environmental requirements and remain competitive in the marketplace.  AGC also plans to hold a supplementary workshop on environmental issues important to federal owners and construction contractors on the afternoon of the second day (same location).  You can register for the conference only, the conference and the afternoon workshop, or simply the afternoon workshop in one easy-to-use online registration form. The conference will provide key information for construction professionals who work on vertical and horizontal projects.  Plenary and breakout sessions will explore efficiencies and profits in stormwater, provide strategies for “green” fleet maintenance and operations as well as spill prevention and clean up, and uncover hidden hazards in buildings.  Attendees will learn about integrating environmental management for compliance and sustainability, new advances in green building standards and codes and how they affect project delivery and communications with owners, cost savings in waste management, as well as setting priorities to manage risk.  More details and session descriptions will be available online soon.
