AGC Joins Other Organizations in Letter to House Chairman on Lead Paint Proposal

In a January 10 letter to U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight & Government Reform, AGC and 15 other national organizations expressed concern with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) “Lead: Renovation, Repair and Painting (LRRP) Rule” and its proposed amendments.  AGC also recently submitted comments to the EPA along with 15 other real estate and construction organizations expressing concerns with the proposal and met with the EPA staff person who is drafting the lead paint rule.
