AGC offers GBCI CEs for Webinar on the New LEED® v3

AGC strives to provide with the most up-to-date information on LEED® v3 and how it affects contractors. On December 15, 2009 AGC will host a webinar entitled "The Impact of LEED® v3 for New Construction on Construction Practices".  In attending this webinar registrants will have the ability to earn 1.5 GBCI CE hours to count toward their required credentialing maintenance hours. This webinar is focused toward professionals working in the construction-related industries who want to learn about the changes LEED v3 brings and how they may impact their business.  The session will provide a brief overview of sustainability in the construction market and cover specific changes to the LEED-NC Rating System, other changes to the certification process and the new professional credentialing programs. Following this webinar you will have the ability to:
  • Define sustainability and green building
  • Explain the differences between LEEDNCv2.2 and LEED 2009
  • Explore the significance of design and construction submittals
  • Identify the impact of LEED on the construction process
  • Discuss the USGBC/GBCI's credentialing process
  • Introduce the AGC Building to LEED-NC course
All attendees of this program receive a complimentary copy of AGC's Building to LEED-NC: Overview and Impact on Construction Practices Manual with updated supplementary material for LEED v3. Participants will be required to be registered for the webinar under their own name, attend the program from start to finish and complete a post-program evaluation and assessment.
