AGC Hosts Dec. 15 Webinar on the New LEED v3

Webinar looks at the new LEED system and the differences from Version 2.2 for contractors The launch of the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED® Version 3 has brought about significant changes to the LEED process and a lot of questions for construction professionals. In order to provide answers to these questions, AGC will host a webinar on December 15 titled "The Impact of LEED® v3 for New Construction on Construction Practices".  This webinar is focused toward professionals working in the construction-related industries who want to learn about the changes LEED v3 brings and how they may impact their business.  The session will provide a brief overview of sustainability in the construction market and cover specific changes to the LEED-NC Rating System, other changes to the certification process and the new professional credentialing programs. Following this webinar you will have the ability to:
  • Define sustainability and green building
  • Explain the differences between LEEDNCv2.2 and LEED 2009
  • Explore the significance of design and construction submittals
  • Identify the impact of LEED on the construction process
  • Discuss the USGBC/GBCI's credentialing process
  • Introduce the AGC Building to LEED-NC course
