EPA To Host Webinar on Safe Application and Use of Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF)

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will host an online training webinar on December 2 (1-3 PM EST) to address cutting-edge best practices and emerging issues concerning the use of Spray Polyurethane Foam.  To register for this event, click here. Used as an insulator and sealant, Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) is weatherization product that can increase the energy efficiency of homes, schools and buildings.   However, recent EPA announcements warn that spray applicators and other on-site workers need to follow proper handling procedures and use precautions to avoid exposure to hazardous ingredients that are components of SPF products.  The webinar, titled "What You Need to Know About the Safe Use of Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation," will explain the importance of using proper protective equipment and following workplace practices for the safe handling and use of SPF.   For more information and to register for the webinar, click here.
