Major changes are about to take place at HQ USACE in the coming weeks. Earlier this year, MG Don Riley was promoted to Deputy Commanding General, leaving a vacancy in the Civil Works Directorate. LTG Robert Van Antwerp, Commander and Chief of Engineers recently announced two significant leadership changes:
- MG Bo Temple, the current DCG for Military and International Operations, will assume the position of DCG for Civil Works and Emergency Operations later this fall.
- BG(P) Jeff Dorko will become the DCG Military and International Operations upon his return from a much-deserved leave following a highly successful command of the Gulf Region Division in Iraq. BG(P) Dorko was the keynote speaker at the Annual Partnering Awards during the AGC Convention in San Antonio.
