AGC Seeks Help Defining Construction Management Students’ Studies
AGC of America, in cooperation with our Chapters, and the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) are hosting a series of one-day workshops, to help define the skills, knowledge abilities that college and university students will have upon graduation from ACCE-accredited programs in construction management and construction technology.
We are seeking construction industry volunteer participants who either supervise recent graduates or have graduated from a construction program within the last 2-5 years. The goal is to collect a group of volunteers who understand the skills, knowledge, and abilities graduates should have obtained before starting professional employment in the construction industry.
This is a crucial project to help develop the next generation of your firm’s employees by helping their college or university provide them with the most relevant skills, knowledge and abilities that you – their future employer – are seeking.
Complete information is available on each of the five regional workshops:
- Arlington, VA – Nov. 29, 2011
- Atlanta – Dec. 15, 2011
- Dallas – Feb. 8, 2012
- Phoenix – Feb. 21, 2012
- Milwaukee – April 25, 2012
