As Technology Director at O’Neal Jason straddles  IT, engineering, & construction to drive technology decisions that positively impact information flow from the office to the field.  Jason leads the VDC /BIM team in developing the digital strategy that best suits the needs of each job.  Jason’s responsibilities include BIM execution planning, coordination strategy, field management, field hardware, network, & software requirements all in preparation of the digital handover.  Jason is also responsible for leading IT in developing our infrastructure plan to support our growing collaborative business demand.   Jason & his team are heavily involved with laser scanning & post processing in many of our projects in existing facilities. Jason is charged with R&D to understand & implement emerging technologies that align with the O’Neal business model.

As Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Manager, Mr. Clarke is highly skilled at coordinating various design disciplines utilizing building information modeling (BIM) technology. He works closely with design teams and various subcontractor trades to facilitate constructability reviews and to develop efficient solutions regarding the coordination of building systems among various disciplines. He brings effective management and efficient organization to the day-to-day on-site administration to the project team. Over the last ten years with Hensel Phelps, he has worked on over $1.6 Billion in successful projects that range from Federal Office Buildings, to high-rise hotels. 
 


Benjamin Crosby

Benjamin is very passionate about the process of building and education. As a builder, he wants to motivate each person to understand virtual design and construction (VDC) and how it will impact their projects and their careers.  His educational background includes a Bachelors in Construction Management with Math and Physics Minors.  He is a member of the AGC IT Forum Steering Committee, the BIMForum LOD Core Group, a CMAA Certified Construction Manager (CCM), LEED AP BD+C, CM-BIM, CM-Lean, and instructor for the AGC BIM and AGC Lean programs.

As McCarthy’s VDC Manager, Shannon is responsible for management and implementation of McCarthy’s Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) process. Shannon leads project teams who create models for site logistics planning, estimating, self-perform work, constructability reviews, and MEPFP coordination. Shannon manages the VDC process, becoming an integrated member of the project team and ensuring team collaboration and optimized usage of Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools. In addition, Shannon focuses on the development of a project specific VDC strategy, field personnel training, and research & development of value added BIM solutions. Shannon is a practical leader with the ability to direct project teams in planning, integrating, and executing the VDC process.
 


Ron Perkins

Ron is an active member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC). He has been involved in the AEC industry for more than three decades and has been very involved in technology deployment at the construction site for a number of years. Ron has worked directly with firms such as Autodesk, Construction Market Data, HP and as a principal of an AEC technology consulting firm which was acquired by NRI. He has also been a speaker or panelist at numerous events including Autodesk University, ENR FutureTech, CMAA, Meridian, Oracle, AIA, ABC, AGC, CSI and other industry events. He is also a former US Marine.

AGC of America will provide all registrants with a recording of the webinar and the PowerPoint slides following the program.
