Description:

BIM. VDC. What does it all mean? These two terms are no longer just buzz terms in our industry, but taking it to new heights. Hear from Grant Hagen, VDC Manager at The Beck Group share on what these acronyms mean, how they are different, and what role they play in their Design and Construction Operations within Beck to help Revolutionize the Industry, and Create the Future.

Speaker:

Grant Hagen
Virtual Design and Construction Manager
The Beck Group

Grant Hagen is a Virtual Design and Construction Manager at The Beck Group, an Integrated Architecture and Construction Company based in Dallas, TX. Grant leads technology implementation at Beck through research and development for specifically Beck's Unmanned Aerial System (UAS or Drones) initiative. Coming from construction field operations, Grant acts as the filter for software/hardware research from the industry to their project teams, including implementing technology and UAS platforms to become more efficient, effective, and safer in their operations. Leading this effort at an Integrated company, Grant has the opportunity to impact both industries of Design and Construction, where UAS have helped both disciplines revolutionize their workflows with this emerging technology.
