Designed for professionals with a minimum of eight years of project management experience, this intensive program builds on participants’ existing operational expertise and equips them with the leadership, strategic, and financial capabilities required to guide project teams and business outcomes at an executive level.

Across two dynamic days, participants will deepen their understanding of leadership behaviors, communication styles, and team motivation; master ethical and structured decision‑making; and apply frameworks that strengthen both project execution and organizational performance. Through hands‑on exercises, case studies, and facilitated exploration, participants will learn to:
- Lead and influence diverse teams using proven tools such as Everything DiSC and Situational Leadership.
- Navigate complex ethical challenges with confidence and apply structured decision‑making models to real‑world scenarios.
- Improve project productivity by identifying workflow constraints, enhancing coordination, and applying Lean‑based practices.
- Strengthen financial management through earned value analysis, cash flow forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Negotiate fair, balanced contracts that protect their organizations while building strong industry relationships.
- Elevate business development efforts by building enduring client relationships and differentiating their firm based on service and value.

Mark Rounds
Professor of Construction Management (Retired)
Mark Rounds recently retired as Assistant Professor and Program Director of Construction Management at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). He brings 40 years of construction industry experience, including leadership and project management roles with Vogel Bros. Building Co., The Boldt Company, Boller Construction, and Hensel Phelps Construction Co. A licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin, Mark holds a Civil and Environmental Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been recognized with the Daily Reporter’s Educator of the Year award and the MSOE Faculty Appreciation Award.

Mark Federle, P.E., Ph.D. CM-Lean
Associate Dean for Academic Affairs
Marquette University
Mark Federle is currently the Associate Dean for Academic at Marquette University. Previously, he was Chief Information Officer for The Weitz Company in Des Moines for 9 years. Prior to joining The Weitz Company, Federle was the Professor-in-Charge of Construction Engineering program at Iowa State University, where he taught for nine years. Mark earned his PhD and Masters in Construction Engineering and Management from the University of Michigan. Mark is a licensed Professional Engineer and a Certified Professional Constructor and a CM-LEAN. Mark was awarded The Career Achievement Award by Rose-Hulman in 2005. He was recognized by AGC of America as Instructor of the Year in 2011. He is a Fellow of ASCE. He is a member of the National Academy of Construction.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you are no longer able to attend and need to cancel your registration, please submit your request to the AGC Meetings Department in one of two ways:
- Complete the online request form.
- Send an email to meetings@agc.org (include your full name, company, and reason for cancellation)
Cancellations and Refunds
- Registrations canceled within 48 hours of the original registration date are eligible for a full refund without a cancellation fee.
- After the 48-hour grace period, cancellation requests must be submitted 30 or more days prior to the start of the event.
- Registrations canceled 30 or more days prior to the conference will be refunded minus a $250 cancellation fee per registrant.
- Registrations canceled fewer than 30 days prior to the conference are not eligible for a refund.
- No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows or failure to attend without prior cancellation.
- All refunds will be credited to the original method of payment.
Transfers
Attendees may transfer their registration to another individual from the same organization through their online attendee profile at no cost.
- Registration transfers to another individual must be completed 7 days or more prior to the event.
- Requests for staff-assisted transfers to another individual will incur a $50 administrative fee.
