The AGC Certificate of Management Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM) is an assessment-based certificate credential that denotes knowledge and understanding of concepts related to BIM adoption, practice and process transformation outlined in the AGC BIM Education Program. Successful candidates will carry the CM-BIM designation. The exam is 4 hours long.

 

AGC’s Supervisory Training Program is designed for early-career construction supervisors and those looking to move into such a role. Released in April 2015, the new STP contains six units of topics relevant to superintendents. It is a six-course curriculum (141 hours total).







 

To help contractors develop the knowledge needed to build lean, the Associated General Contractors of America developed the Lean Construction Education Program. Construction professionals at all experience levels will learn the building blocks necessary to transform their projects and companies into a lean operating system. The program will progressively cover a range of topics essential to Lean Construction,  including:  Variation and pull in production; Lean Workstructuring, supply chains, and assembly; Production management; Management by values; and Problem-solving principles and tools. It is a seven-course curriculum (35 hours total).

 
 

The Project Manager Development Program is designed for early-career project managers and those looking to move into such a role. The five courses in this program focus on the project manager’s role in any type of construction. The program provides the essential skills of project management through five separate courses on Leadership, Estimating and Job Costing, Contract Administration, Risk Management & Project Administration. It is a five-course curriculum (80 hours total).
