The A.I. Peer Groups for Builders are curated, invite-only cohorts of construction leaders who meet monthly to compare playbooks, pressure-test governance and rollout decisions, and leave with next steps they can act on. Each cohort is typically six to eight firms, matched by company profile, sector, and A.I. maturity, with competitive boundaries in mind.
How the Peer Groups Work
Cohorts meet once a month for about 90 minutes in a facilitated virtual session. Sessions stay practical: prepared prompts, structured peer discussion, and hot-seat reviews where a member puts a live decision in front of the group. After each session, members receive a written summary and supporting resources to bring back to their teams.
Sessions are confidential by default, competitively sensitive topics are off the table, and there are no unsolicited pitches. Placer Solutions doesn't sell software or take vendor commissions, so the room stays candid and non-promotional.
The peer groups are operated independently by Placer Solutions, the research firm behind the A.I. Excellence in Construction report series. AGC does not participate in sessions and does not have access to session content.
Who It's For
The program is built for the people responsible for A.I. decisions inside a construction firm. Members come from mid-sized to large general contractors, construction managers, specialty and self-performing contractors, and heavy civil firms, with dozens of member firms across multiple cohorts.
Membership is by application and open to operators only. Placer Solutions reviews every application for fit, schedules a short call, and places accepted firms into the right cohort. Each member firm designates two primary participants.
