AGC is committed to realizing the legislative priorities facing the commercial construction industry and growing the construction economy. AGC's Legislative Action Committee sets our legislative priorities and serves as the regulatory clearinghouse while ensuring that AGC members have a voice in drafting AGC's policy agenda.

AGC has a strong and effective team of advocacy professionals located in a townhouse one block from the U.S. Capitol who work directly with elected officials and government agencies to encourage additional investment in infrastructure, tax policies that promote investment, common-sense labor reform and contracting reform, which are among AGC's top priorities. To compliment AGC's advocacy effort it maintains a $1 million political action committee, AGC PAC, and a network of grassroots activists to make sure the industry's voice is heard at all levels of government.
