The AGC of America Utility Infrastructure Division is pleased to announce the election of Kathy Freeman as Division Chair for 2024-2025. Kathy ascended to the position during the AGC Annual Convention in San Diego, CA. She serves as Safety Director for the Mortensen Denver Operating Group and focuses on the planning, development, coordination and administration of safety and health programs within the organization.
Outside of AGC and her role at Mortensen, Kathy is a strong supporter of Women in Construction, offering mentorship and sharing her insights through speaking engagements. Her contributions also include active participation in Safety Committees through AGC and the National Safety Council.
In addition to Kathy, Doug Petty, Vice President of Iron Woman Construction & Environmental Services, was elected as Vice Chair. Doug’s term of office will be for 2024-2025. Ty Edmonson of TA Loving Company, the former Chair of the Utility Infrastructure Division, is the Immediate Past Chairman.
