Why did you get involved with AGC of America?

When I became active in AGC of America, I had already been involved with my local chapter for several years but had just taken on business development responsibilities with my company at the time. The CEO at my previous position, (current AGC of America Vice President) Les Snyder, who prioritized and encouraged employee development, recommended that I join AGC’s Business Development Forum to learn best practices, network with other industry professionals, and advance my career.

What benefits have you experienced being involved with AGC of America?

Where to begin?  Involvement in AGC provides numerous benefits for members at all career levels who decide to engage.  Personally, I’ve received education on and exposure to all aspects of the industry, stayed up to date on market trends and legislation, and met countless dedicated and welcoming professionals and formed lasting relationships.  My involvement has also allowed me to give back to and help advance the industry and have a voice in future policy and direction.

What can others gain by engaging with AGC of America?

Quite honestly, whatever you want to.  AGC provides members with the ability to choose how and where you want to engage.  Active involvement can provide professional development, learning opportunities within your focus or elsewhere, insight into emerging trends and technology, tremendous networking, and so on.

What project are you currently working on that you are most excited about?

Tarlton has an exciting and diverse mix of current and upcoming projects across the markets we serve with both reoccurring and new customers.  I’m looking forward to partnering with our talented team members and valued clients to leverage our expertise and experience and continue the legacy of success which has been earned over many years.
