AGC's “HR/TED Conference” this year provides two days of education and networking for HR, training, and workforce development professionals in the construction industry. Educational sessions for training professionals cover the most cutting-edge techniques in training and development currently in use and envisioned for the future in the industry. The HR sessions help HR professionals in the industry remain up to date and compliant with employment laws and best practices. Some sessions interest both HR and training professionals alike.

Attendees can expect to walk away from this year's conference with practical skills and knowledge that they can begin to implement immediately. Plus, they can take away insights from colleagues who face the same challenges they face every day. Sessions for this year will include topics such as, but not limited to labor and employment law updates, economic outlook, managing health care costs, and engagement.

Not to be missed this year are the Conference’s four anchor sessions.  During the opening of the conference, Fred Henke with Segal will kick off the conference with his session “Balancing Wellness & Wellbeing for a Healthy Workforce.”  Bryan May with Arcoro will close the first day of the conference moderating a contractor panel discussion on “Overcoming the Workforce Shortage – Moving beyond Recruiting.” On the final day of the conference, Wally Adamchik from FireStarter Speaking and Consulting will share results from the 2021 People in Construction and tools to respond to key findings in his session “We Aren't THAT Bad: Findings from the 2021 People In Construction Survey.” And to close out the conference, Ben Ashburn, formerly from Procore and now with the NRP Group, will present his very timely session “Virtual Training for a Post-pandemic Workforce: Best Practices for On-Boarding and Continuing Education at Your Organization.”

General and specialty contractor staff, AGC chapter staff, and other professionals involved in workforce and professional development, education, human resources and training are invited to attend. Attendees will also earn HRCI credits.
