AGC worked with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to develop this popular (free) resource more than a decade ago; and it boasts 14,000 visits a month. When federal budget cuts slashed funding for industry compliance assistance initiatives, AGC quickly stepped up to keep the CICA Center online and current. AGC now seeks to establish a long-term funding program to sustain the CICA Center’s future in 2017 and beyond. We hope you’ll join us through our new annual CICA Center Supporter Program.
Demonstrate Environmental Leadership by Becoming a 2017 Supporter to Keep these Comprehensive, Environmental Compliance and Sustainability Resources Available Online for Free to the Entire Construction Industry.
AGC hopes you will help keep the CICA Center website running in 2017, because it is specifically designed to help construction firms understand and access current and relevant environmental rules and regulations. With fines of up to $51,570 per day per violation (for several water programs), many firms cannot afford to be out of compliance, yet lack the resources for full-time environmental personnel. The CICA Center is available to them, as well as to all professionals in the industry. It provides easy-to-read summaries and serves as a portal to federal and state information. It also is a great tool to prepare internal training programs or toolbox talks, and to research requirements in new areas where your company may be seeking work. Your support will help keep all of this possible.
The new CICA Center Supporter Program offers AGC members the opportunity to annually pledge their support at an affordable funding level. AGC will take many steps to recognize those firms who join with the Association in backing the continuance of environmental resources online for the good of the entire construction industry.
