Stormwater, Process Water, WOTUS and More at AGC's 2016 Contractors Environmental Conference

Join us Oct. 5-6 in Washington, D.C. Early bird rates apply through July!

Water issues are at the forefront of the 2016 AGC Contractors Environmental Conference.  The draft federal stormwater permit and updates to the nationwide permits that authorize a variety of construction operations in “Waters of the U.S.” (WOTUS) are the tip of the iceberg.  At the state and local level, cities are incorporating green infrastructure strategies to help meet their stormwater goals, and at the project level, managing process water continues to be on contractors’ to-do-lists.

Register today to attend AGC’s CEC and hear the latest developments, tips and strategies:

  • Federal Regulators’ Update on Water Issues – Receive updates on an array of new and emerging federal water issues, representatives from U.S. EPA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will discuss stormwater, electronic reporting, WOTUS, jurisdictional determinations and Nationwide Permits.

  • Green Infrastructure Case Study: Stormwater Opportunities and Trading Programs – Cities across the US are focusing on stormwater and green infrastructure. Hear how one city is meeting its stormwater goals through green infrastructure and a trading program to reduce runoff.

  • Process Water: How to Manage these Waste Streams – Construction specific process water requires management and controls in order to comply with requirements. Learn how to identify and treat these waste waters from two prominent industry experts -- including the International Erosion Control Association’s top presenter for 2016.

  • Enforcement Update – Get caught up on new enforcement and inspection trends and initiatives, including making your company’s compliance data searchable online, advanced monitoring, and 3rd party audits.
