Early-bird savings are in effect; speaker proposals are due next week! Join us Sept. 2-3 for the nation’s foremost management conference for environmental professionals in the construction industry—AGC’s 2015 Contractors Environmental Conference (CEC) in Arlington, Va. AGC opened registration on Earth Day last week and early bird savings are available through May 31. In addition, a few speaking opportunities remain, so be sure to submit your proposal by the end of next week.
The CEC offers you the opportunity to learn from and network with experts in the field and share best practices with your peers. With separate tracks on compliance and sustainability, you will find great resources for environmental professionals who work in the building, highway and transportation, federal and heavy, and utility infrastructure markets. Whether your goal is an excellent compliance record or setting your company apart as a green contractor, AGC’s CEC is the conference for you.
Based on your responses to a survey last fall, the CEC will create the right educational environment for you and address the issues on your to-do list. The CEC will feature:
- Expert educational sessions,
- Interaction with the federal regulatory agencies,
- Contractor case studies,
- Peer-to-peer discussions, and
- Insider briefings with AGC staff and leaders.

Submitting a Speaker Proposal
AGC of America is accepting proposals for a limited number of speaking opportunities at the 2015 CEC. We invite you to submit a proposal for a compelling educational presentation on environmental or sustainability issues geared towards construction professionals. Click here for a list of suggested content areas (based on a member survey), along with the submittal form, and other important details for presenters. All presentation proposals forms must be submitted to Melinda Tomaino at tomainom@agc.org no later than Friday, May 8, 2015.
