Overview of AGC’s Training, Education and Development Staff and Duties

The following is an update of AGC of America’s Training, Education and Development (TED) staff and who is responsible for various activities.
  • Mike Stark (Executive Director, Knowledge Programs & Building Markets) oversees staff and programs in the TED Department and Building Division. Mike has recently taken on workforce development and staffing for the Training, Education and Development (TED) Forum.
  • Liz Elvin’s last day at AGC was Feb. 14. AGC is seeking to hire a Director of Curriculum Development to lead development and revision of AGC curriculum (STP, BIM EP, LCEP, PMDP) and related programs and materials. Mike Stark is working on development of the remaining units of the Lean Construction Education Program (LCEP) in the interim.
  • Carrie Chard (Senior Director, Professional Development & Credentialing) continues to lead AGC’s AMP and PMC programs, convention education sessions and continuing education efforts. In addition, Carrie is leading AGC’s ongoing credentialing efforts and the development of the Certificate of Management-Lean Construction (CM-LC), which is scheduled for release in 2015.
  • Meri Woods (Director, Education Advancement and Credentialing) continues to lead the management of AGC curriculum (STP, BIM EP, LCEP, PMDP) and related credentialing programs (CM-BIM). Meri is the point person for Chapters who host or seek to host AGC curriculum courses, as well as the CM-BIM exam.
  • Carly Trout (Program Coordinator, Education & Credentialing) is supporting the entire department, specifically related to credentialing, CEUs, convention education sessions, management programs (AMP/PMC) and planning for the HR and Training Professionals Conference.
  • Ayda Mohammed (Program Coordinator, Professional Development) is supporting the entire department, specifically related to curriculum, webinars, CM-BIM and management programs (AMP/PMC).
  • Sarah Gallegos (Associate Director, Building Division) is staffing the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) and Student Chapters. She also recently took over as staff lead for the TED Forum’s Industry Recruiting Task Force.
