Inspector America Details Nation's Infrastructure Woes

Tim Galarnyk, host of the History Channel's Inspector America, participated in an AGC-hosted event in Pittsburgh on Thursday, May 26. During the event, Galarnyk detailed problems with the region's and nation's roads, bridges and waterways. The Constructors Association of Western Pennsylvania co-hosted the event, which also included participation from the chapter's executive director, Richard Barcaskey, and AGC member Chuck Niederriter (Golden Triangle Construction, Imperial, Pa.). Both speakers underscored the importance of federal investments in the nation's infrastructure to keep people employed and provide safe drinking water, reliable transportation systems and flood protection. AGC also released new construction employment numbers during the event. The news was covered by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and Allentown Morning Call.
