Carole Bionda, vice president of the Nova Group and Doug McNames, vice president of contract administration for Baker Concrete Construction, were recently elected to the ConsensusDOCS Contract Content Advisory Council (CCAC).Bionda will serve as chair of the CCAC. She has extensive experience in the construction industry and has served in national leadership positions in a number of construction related organizations. Nova Group Inc., a west coast contractor specializing in hydrant fueling, waterfront and marine utility construction projects for the United States Government. As chair, she will continue to “assure that all voices are heard, that opinions in the minority are respected and actively considered, and that the final product furthers the mission of ConsensusDOCS.”
Theodore (Ted) E. Argyle, Esq., is the outgoing chair of the council. Argyle is an owner from the state of Idaho, and is chief of the civil division of the Ada County prosecuting attorney’s office. He also serves as incoming president of the National Board of Directors for the Construction Owners Association of America (COAA) and chair of its Documents Committee.
Doug McNames has been elected as the vice-chair of the CCAC. He is currently the vice president of contract administration at Baker Concrete in Monroe, Ohio, and serves as chair of the American Subcontractor Associations (ASA), Contract Documents Committee. Doug was recently awarded the 2010 Outstanding Service Award by ASA for his contribution and dedication to improving business and construction for subcontractors nationwide.
