Specialty Contractors Council Presents Sessions at Convention

AGC 90th Annual Convention - March 4-7, 2009 Join us next week in San Diego for the AGC 90th Annual Convention and Constructor Expo, an experience you can't afford to miss!  Our efforts to build a better construction industry will take center stage when we discuss the challenges and opportunities of the current economy, share the latest innovations in green construction, learn of the new possibilities for using Building Information Modeling (BIM) on construction projects, and more.  Exciting sessions for specialty contractors have been scheduled for the Convention.
  • A dynamic panel presentation entitled “The Cash Flow Implications of Retention” on Friday, March 6, will explore the variety of retention options from the perspectives of specialty contractors, general contractors, and the surety and legal viewpoints.
  • A meeting of the Specialty Contractors Council on Wednesday, March 4, will feature a roundtable discussion of the issues most pressing to specialty contractors today and in the future, such as card check, e-verify, immigration, and more.
  • The first-ever Specialty Contractors Council Reception on Thursday, March 5, is open to all specialty contractors.  If you would like to attend the reception, be sure to register for this ticketed event separately when you register for Convention.
