Why is Liquid Assets important?Liquid Assets focuses on how our water and wastewater infrastructure provide a critical public health function and is essential for economic development and growth. The documentary is a tool for educating the American public about how our water infrastructure operates. Liquid Assets highlights the current status of our national water infrastructure and the tremendous challenges to maintain modernize these systems to maintain our quality of life. What is AGC's involvement in Liquid Assets?AGC of America supports increased investment in our infrastructure and believes that Americans deserve to know the dire state of our neglected and aging water infrastructure systems. Some estimates suggest that modernizing and replacing aging water infrastructure will be the single largest public works endeavor in our nation's history. AGC has contributed $100,000 dollars to PSU Public Broadcasting because it is imperative that the public understand the critical state of our water infrastructure. How can I help?PBS stations will be allowed to broadcast the documentary for three years starting in October 2008 and AGC Chapters and members can sponsor events and screenings of Liquid Assets.
