CM At-Risk State-by-State InformationAGC of America and the National Association of State Facilities Administrators (NASFA) have collaborated on a survey of state-by-state information on Construction Management At-Risk (i.e. CM At-Risk, CM@R, CM/GC, GC/CM, CMc). Below you will find the results of that survey. Clicking on a state in the map will "pop-up" the survey results for that state in each of five areas: state building construction, K-12, higher education, local government, and horizontal non-building Department of Transportation projects.
Both the map and the overview are living documents. The information they provide is subject to both change and interpretation, and it follows that viewers should consult legal counsel before taking action on such information.* Many states are still determining how to approach CM@R, and this can result in a lack of clear and precise information. Particularly where state statutes are silent on the subject of CM@R, viewers should take this fact into account. Additionally, viewers should note that different states define the categories of construction in different ways. If you have updates, corrections, or additions to suggest, please contact Mike Stark at starkm@agc.org.
