The day when Building Information Modeling (BIM) will be standard practice on construction job sites is coming. Studies show that BIM use among project owners, architects, and contractors has steadily increased and is projected to become even more widespread in the years ahead. So, what is BIM and why are people using it in construction?

BIM 101 discusses how BIM provides contractors with the benefit of improved visualization of a construction project through the use of a 3D virtual model, establishes a base of knowledge of BIM terminology and looks at the benefits of BIM and case studies showing implementation before encouraging participants to study how they could implement BIM.

SAVE! Individuals registering for this program can receive a $350 credit towards a Standard Convention Registration ($500 value) for AGC's 91st Annual Convention & Pavilion, March 17-20, also located at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
