2010 AGC–ASPE Advanced Estimating Academy

The 2010 Advanced Estimating Academy presented by AGC of America and the American Society of Professional Estimators was held on October 26–27, 2010, in Arlington, Va. During this two–day program, estimators learned the required skills to take their careers to next level.

Topics included problem solving and decision making, planning, meeting management, delegation, communications, managing your time, and skills to empower the next generation of leaders. In addition, participants reviewed advanced take–off methods and 3–demensional modeling.

AGC's Online Institute provides a variety of online training covering the basics of cost estimating to construction scheduling. Two new courses provide examples applicable to all construction estimating, with a focus on building or heavy/civil construction.
