Substance abuse in construction not only creates safety risks, but threatens the productivity and bottom line for the entire organization. And for some federal and federally–funded construction contractors, there are certain guidelines that must be followed in order to comply with contract requirements. Get advice on the legal aspects of workplace substance abuse programs, including tips on effective substance abuse policies, assessing the different types of workplace testing programs, determining “reasonable suspicion” and dealing with medical marijuana laws.
