Project Description:
Philadelphia District was the new design and construction agent for the Air Mobility Command (AMC) Military Construction program at Dover Air Force Base.

Project Challenges:

  • New Customer
  • Initial Team-building effort
  • Joint AMC/BCE/Philadelphia District effort
  • Overcoming past problems

Issue 1 - What Worked:

  • Partnership continues to grow
  • Building on each member's strength

Issue 2 - What did not Work:

  • Funding delays for requested modifications (marked improvement in the last few years)
