SCC Membership
AGC of America strives to be the organization of choice for those associated with the construction industry and its membership includes general contractors, specialty contractors, suppliers and service providers. AGC of America is composed of approximately 33,000 member firms; approximately 12,000 of the firms are specialty contractors.

There are a few ways to become an SCC member: an individual must be nominated by their Chapter and a Chapter can nominate one additional individual for every one hundred of their specialty contractor member firms. The SCC Chairperson can nominate up to ten specialty contractors to serve on the Council. The AGC President must appoint all aforementioned candidates to the Council.

SCC Executive Committee
There are eight members of the SCC Executive Committee; representing different regions of the United States. All eight of these individuals sit on the AGC Board of Directors.

The SCC nominates a Chair and Vice Chairperson to serve two–year terms. The Chair services on the AGC Executive Board.
