Leadership in Construction WorkshopOn every project, effective leadership is the key to successfully meeting overall project goals. AGC's Leadership in Construction Workshop was designed and developed by constructors — for constructors. Through a series of personal assessment tools (including a CheckPoint 360 Evaluation), team projects, and instruction by field experienced constructors, this dynamic three day workshop allows participants to expand their leadership skill set and build confidence for continued growth. Examples of job specific areas and titles include: senior management team members, project engineers/manages, estimators, area/branch managers, superintendents, operations managers and safety directors. Participants who wish to earn ANSI/IACET CEUs for this program are expected to arrive on time, attend the program from start to finish, complete the evaluation and complete the post-program, online assessment with a score of 75% or higher.
Participants who wish to earn CEUs for this program are expected to arrive on time, attend the program from start to finish, complete the evaluation and complete the post-program online exam with a score of 75% or greater.
All-Inclusive Tuition The all-inclusive tuition for AGC Members is $2,495 and for Non-Members tuition is $3,085. This fee includes hotel accommodations for the night prior to and the two night of the workshop, all meals at the hotel and instructional materials. AGC of America also handles the booking of participants' hotel rooms, with each person have his/her own room. Participants are responsible for securing their own flight and ground transportation. Due to the intensive nature of this workshop, the presence of spouses or guests is not permitted. The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 8405 Greensboro Drive, Suite 800, McLean, VA 22102-5120. In obtaining this approval, AGC has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standards which are widely recognized as standards of good practice internationally. As a result of their Authorized Provider membership status, AGC is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standards. AGC has awarded 2.7 CEUs to participants who successfully complete this program. Over 400 agencies, state boards and other organizations recognize the IACET CEU.
The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is a Registered Provider with The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Systems. Credit earned on completion of this program will be reported to CES Records for AIA members. Certificates of Completion for non-AIA members are available on request.
