Support efforts to increase training opportunities through apprenticeship programs, the Workforce Investment Act, Veterans’ training, funding for vocational education, as well as career academies and charter schools.  A strong and skilled workforce is vital to the continued growth of the construction industry because of the shortage of skilled labor. Quality training is a key to keeping the industry strong.
