Total: $750 million
Grants for fixed guideway infrastructure improvement based on formula in Section 5337 of Title 49

Funds remain available until September 30, 2010
Funds must be apportioned by federal agency no later than 21 days after enactment
50% of the funds must be obligated by the State within 180 days from apportionment of funds by the federal government
100% of the funds must be obligated by the State within 1 year from apportionment of funds by the federal government
Any funds that are not obligated or spent by the appropriate deadlines are recaptured and reprogrammed
