- $3.25 billion for the Federal Columbia River Transmission System
- $3.25 billion for loan to the Western Area Power Administration
Deadlines
- Funds expire on September 30, 2010
- Funds for Columbia River Transmission System are to remain outstanding at any time
Additional Information
- Of the $4.5 billion, $100 million shall be for worker training, $80 million for resources assessment at the Department of Energy, and $10 million is to implement the Smart Grid Interoperability Framework
- Loan to the Western Area Power Administration must never exceed $3.25 billion at any one time
